What we do

Cheryl's House of Hope (formerly Where Waz Eye) provides a safe place for women to stay during recovery and helps them during the critical process of reestablishing a normal life after suffering from severe addiction.

Our five-bed facility offers food and shelter while volunteers assist with transportation to and from appointments and counseling services. We encourage our residents to participate in a variety of social rebuilding activities including:

  • Vocational studies and skill building

  • Arts, crafts, and other hobbies

  • Volunteering in the community

  • Assisting with fundraising

  • Attending religious services

  • Sharing their stories with others

Not only do these activities help our residents form better bonds with each other and members of the community, it also helps raise awareness about the drug epidemic in Ross county and Southern Ohio.

We help the women make positive life choices on their journey in recovery.
